Mmmmm does it matter? (These questions seem suspiciously more and more stereotyping/confining/fetishizing/narrowing and less relevant to what I’m like).
Anyway, I was born in Canada and Canada has a maple leaf on its flag, and I planted a maple tree in my backyard in the second grade and it was so, so beautiful—a rabbit chewed it down when it was just a baby tree but I didn’t give up on it and now it’s taller than my house, and it’s gorgeously imperfect, a little left leaning and sways in the wind but so sturdy, I never knew it would stand so tall but, looking back, I knew I always watered it and protected it, and it impacted me to reshape myself as an individual, and besides, I’ve always had a thing for trees in general, they’re kinda hot, and I guess this means that I identify as maple.
I hope this clarifies!!
